CASE STUDY:
HOME JEWELRY STUDIO
-
This talented artisan makes handmade jewelry out of their bedroom. The home studio was gobbling up their personal space, making it almost impossible to relax when they weren’t working. They wanted their workbench tidied and consolidated so it was easier to turn off their work brain when it was chill time.
-
We worked together to lay out the design they had sketched out, with a few tweaks and tips from yours truly. As you can see, the work area has a much smaller footprint now! There are also designated zones for bench work, supplies, and shipping. The client eventually moved into a new house with a separate studio space, and said it was much easier to move and set up their new space with everything organized.
-
The client did a lot of work ahead of my visit, including hanging the shelves and sorting things into categories. We spent a full day together going through small items, workshopping solutions, and strategizing how they could wrap things up on their own.
